The Meridian Police Activities League Higher Education Scholarship Program

The Meridian Police Activities League was founded in 1996 to provide youth the opportunity to participate in various sports activities.  Over the years, we have been involved in many civic programs and projects such as:

 

• Coats for Kids

• Sneakers for Kids

• LEADERSHIP 1st

• The Positive Coaching Alliance

• Safe Environment

• St. Alphonsus Sports Medicine

 

We are now pleased to announce that the Meridian PAL Board of Directors has approved a new program to provide a scholarship for higher education. Scholarships are available for:

• Universities

• Colleges

• Trade and Vocational Schools.

 

THE HIGHER EDUCATION SCHOLARSHIP FUND is to help students offset the costs of education.  When students can use private scholarships to fill the financial gap, it means more time devoted to academics and activities, and less crippling debt.
